thanks guys and he pulled through thanks for all the great info Natalie...... the reason i didnt put him in quarantine is hes big and i felt the quarantine tank is too small.... when should i put him in the bigger tank? he active now..

I'd wait a few days now to ensure he doesn't have ich or any other issues. Stress brings a lot of this stuff out in fish, especially stress of shipping.

Diseases can reveal themselves up to a month after a move, so a 4-week quarantine is always recommended. I've read before that many diseases emerge 2 weeks after a stressful event, so it's really best to do a full quarantine if you can.

Ha! Sorry I'm a D-bag. I thought it came across a little pissy but I come off like that a lot too. I work for an LFS so people don't listen to my advice all the time. I have learned to say "your loss" in my head and help them again when they come back.

hes been eating NLS and Hikari Gold and his colors have popped...
