So today I bought a Senegal bichir thats around 15cm. And I also bought a delhezi but the problem is the delhezi is around 10cm....

So its with bullhead (30cm) and an ornitapinus (30cm). Do you guys think they will eat the 10cm delhezi?

And is their a way to reduce agression? more water chances more food?

I would guess so but I’d never trust a catfish with anything that it could at least try fitting in its mouth. I once had a tiny little redtail that ate 2 neons and 1 platy that were almost as big as it was in a few hours. I would just maybe try seperating them asap.

yeah but I got no other tank to place him in

Can we get pics of the setup? How big is the tank? Do you have some decor that they can hide in?

Sounds like a race. Who’s going to eat the small polys first? Will it be the bullhead or the ornate.? Both are likely candidates especially after lights out.

Great example of why we want to research our fish before we buy them, not after. Been there before.

You can try to separate with eggcrate light diffuser. Might need to make 2 sections and off set them so the holes are half size. The small polys would most likely squeeze through a single set of egg crate.

What is the outcome of this mix?

a lot of decor actually

hes good, swimming happily in the tank.
So the plan is to feed daily and do 2 times a week water chances to stimulate growth and reduce aggression.
