HELP!! Cracked brace

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
is the tank level? sounds weird that a brand new tank would crack like that on the top-unless it was banged and jerked around during shipping or setup.

id keep an eye on it.

No , its not new. Just new to me. I havent set it up yet and am going to make sure to shim the stand to make it level once I move everything inside. Going to get some epoxy of some nature to glue that crack first.

There are a couple of Harbor freights in INDY...did you see my post?

well theres another crack in the front middle section of the brace. now i dont know what the hell to do about that. this one is a clean break. I think the cold is getting to it. Im gonna let the paint dry on the back and bring it in. Should I just order a new brace? This tank was manufactured in '00 so I dont know if I order one that it will be the right size, kind, etc...

Might not be a bad Idea...
or
you could just build a tight fitting canopy...

Possible 100% failure .............01%
Structurally sound..................99.09%
Will it be in the back of your head, screwing with your mind, everyday till you do SOMETHING about it ........100%

Keep an eye on it...it'll probably be fine just like it is...;)

your math is messed up.

99.09+.01=99.1

the other .9% is the chance that the tank will implode, creating a black hole and destroying your house.
