well guys i can positively say that it is not a jag! sure they both have red eyes! but isnt like jags eye's are that red! have you guys ever seen a juvie jag sure isnt what he has!
Although it looks like a red barred midas, you will notice that my little guy has very red lips, which is unlike the barred midas in the previous pics. I also agree with the fact that he seems very elongated.
Well, as I've been saying, with 100% certainty, it's no jag! Period, end of story. I'm sticking to barred midas. Not every single fish of a species is going to look exactly alike, they have distinct features that allow us to determine the species. Then, you always have hybrids. They're everywhere.
