He's all beat to h*ll now from fighting with my Festae. It was a bad move trying to put them together but I guess I wouldn't know if I didn't try. I'll get him healed and then I think I'm putting him up for sale along with the female Grammy.

I already had to put them back. No deal. The Dovii is a KILLER now. Not his mellow self he used to be not too long ago. My gut instinct told me it couldn't last forever. Too bad.

At least you had some fun while it lasted. Dovii are worth the tank space IMO.
I am in agreance with cichlidinsomniac as far as Dats and Cats. They don't float my boat either so I would keep the Dovii.

I think I agree with you. When I had the three Dats and Tig in the a tank by themselves, they just didn't do anything for me. I'm thinking of selling them. I don't know how much to ask for an almost 10" Indo Datnoid though. I've had about eight PM's asking to buy them.

Well he doesn't look like my avatar any more. It's going to take a while for him to heal up. His tail and dorsal are in shreds and he's missing some scales. It's a good thing there was plenty of driftwood in the tank for him to get away from the Dovii's beatings. I feel like an idiot. It's weird he completely left the female alone.

Not sure. This really sucks. I know I'll have to sell someone soon but it's tearing me up. I raised these Dats from 1.5" and I'm quite attached. Same with the Tig. I put him in the Festae tank for now and they don't seem to mind him being in there.
