Java moss should be good, I want some for my tank. Fake plants are good though because they dont die... Unless my Oscar takes them for a ride around the tank a couple times haha

Your original choices:

A) Sell the Datnoids and Tig, give the Dovii and Grammodes the tank and get a some kind of super tough catfish?
B) Sell the Dovii and Grammodes, and add some peaceful cichlids?
C) Keep all of them until it's just not working out any more at the risk of my Tig getting killed?
D)Other?

The majority of the aggression is coming from the Grammodes. He's just not a team player. Although he's a cool fish, I'm not as attached to him as the Dovii. I won't be too sad to sell him or trade him. I'll be happy to trade him for a bocourti or just keep the Dovii as the only cichlid.

I want to say thanks to everyone so far for your opinions and ideas. It's given me a lot to think about.

This morning I got up and went to feed the fish. The Dovii and the three Dats came to the front of the tank and were begging for food all together practically touching each other. So far he doesn't care to hurt them at all. I can throw a hand full of Massivore pellets in and it turns into a feeding frenzy. The Datnoids practically grab pellets from my Dovii's mouth lol. If the Grammodes even comes near the feeding spot, he's toast.

For now I'm still not sure what to do except that I'll put the Grammodes male and female up for sale.
