Is the tank even cycled?
seriously :screwy:..

yes of course its cycled, its not a new tank. its been setup for a good year at least now. I do weekly 1/4 water changes, restocked recently and most of the fish are newish but they went into my 4ft, for atleased a week after purchase, i had not noticed any odd behavior, all were healthy and showing no signs of anything bad. my param's are good no nitrate or ammonia spikes.... but there are still white poos.... please i am not a fish noob, i dont really know about the chemical side of things. On the internal bacteria box it says that the active ingredents are bronopol 523mgs, formaldehyde 1,000mgs and benzalkonium 250mgs, the other one just says it contains sodium chloride... gill movement is still more rapid than normal, nothing seems to be hanging around at the surface anymore, and there are still white poos. where can i get the chems that were metioned before.

Yes seriously, it was a valid question. You sound as if you have no idea what's going on in you tank and you had not posted any info regarding water params within the tank. The symptoms are typical of ammonia or nitrite poisoning.

By providing complete information you'd have a better chance of saving your poor fish. but since you act like an a** towards someone trying to help, others will now pass on wasting their time trying to help you.

another valid question-what are your water parameters? ammonia, nitrite and nitrates?

Just tested my water with my hagen test kit results are ammonia is 0.4, nitrit is 0.2, nitrate is 10 and pH 7.0. Is this satisfactory? Acting like an ass? If you havent got any knowledge to put in please STFU and GTFO...

put air in the tank, raise up the heater increase the water temperature. the white poo problem i think ur talking about ick... see if raising the water temp to 88 degree will help. If it doesn't work in the next 2 days, pick up some ick medicine. and don't forget to do water change like 25% of water everyday. good luck

Ammonia and Nitrite are zero in a cycled tank, so your params. aren't okay. This could very well be the problem with your tank.

Self pwnd. I know what it's like to be upset over a sick fish, but try to be more civil and you might find that people are more helpful.

Hahahaha, original.

You're ignoring the possible root of the problem if you just dump meds. The problem could be related to water quality. It is THE most important. You haven't even diagnosed the problem yet. Jumping to conclusions will kill your fish.
