Is it newly wildcaught? Because it sounds like it could be gill worms, can be treated with prazicantel.

i agree

ive had this happen twice. once was a gill fluke that was easily taken care of w prazi, and the other was when the water company threw a load of chlorine through...

deff check chlorine

Yes

My friend bought it from this person who had it for a while.

He might have recently introduced some stock which then got into the rays system, you might ask him if he recently introduced some new stock.

it may be just lazy and because its not moving around much it only needs to use one.

Are you serious or kidding here?

U said parzi, is that a parziquatel? Can I use it on rays

nitrate 0? even tap water isnt 0 unless your useing pure water i think your test kit might be alittle dodgy.

how did you aclimatise the ray?
do you know what ph the ray was kept at by the other guy?
the sudden change in water chemistry might be haveing a bad affect on it.

no not really. ive seen one of my old rays sit perfectly still under the sand only useing one hole, but only for a very short time. kind in stealth mode lol. or just stressed and really trying to hide best it could.

Mine is, stop bashing him

My friend and I live in the same city, I still use drip before I put him in the tank. When I got him he was find until last night. I thinking it gotta be the worms, I feed the worms the day before yesterday and last night he have a problem.

I don't know I tested this morning and check it with the color chart and that what it said oppm. I check it again when I get home tonight. Maybe my test kit is reading not correct, just got that kit like a month ago.
