no way really, what are you doing as far as water changing? Also your not feeding him right? Was the green stuff all you put in other than salt so far? Dude a few pics would be great too if you had time just to see the process of healing.
Definitely get a handle on the water testing. Easiest cure right now is to do 50% water changes every day with PRIME dechlorinator. Temps at about 80º to speed up the healing and feed him much protein. He will probably recover on his own without meds once you fix the water quality.

i thought about adding the old filter back im to lazy and i dont feel like cleaning it. Also my paramiters are almost perfect. ammonia: 0.50 (hopefully non-toxic form) // nitrite: 0.25 // nitrate: less than 5.0
i would have tanken pics of my tank but the city added more clorine to tap water to clean out there system and i have been doing daily water changes.I did not know that until today when my tank was in a grey fog/haze. my buddy from the my lfs told me.

i just did a water swap from the quarrentine tank (20g) the water in that tank is clorine free i hope and only had 1 green sevrum
