you really need to do some reading..
if you just moved him to the new tank hes hiding because hes not comfortable yet.. give him some time.. throw some snails in the tank and leave him be.. check the water and try to make the cycle as gental as you can for him...
the less you spook him the more he will relax.. the more he relaxes the faster he will get comfortable.. the more comfortable he is the faster he will eat.. the faster he eats the faster he will get healthy..

the tank is cycled... hes been happy in it for a month or two. and no i didnt use a puffer to cycle it i just transferred the biomedia pad from one filter to another so i could move them quickly. im gonna do the same for the new tank but im gonna take out that filter and put the biopad in the new filter and move the filter over to cycle both pads at once. is that a good idea for moving them to a 55g quick?

i had to go overnight to keuka lake and when i came back the teeth had grown (barely) but just enough that my puffer cant eat anymore... he tries but when he bite down he wriths in pain... :( is horrifying to watch him anymore... :( :( i need some anesthesia to be able to file his teeth away so he can eat to get his strength back. and dont say i need to get him healthy first... how can i get him healthy if he cant eat?
