i wasnt his first owner though, a girl at my school found him. she tried to keep him in a tupperware container and she fed him lettuce
i told her that she needed to feed him worms at that size and with a grossed out look on her face she offered him to me
im pretty sure the only reason my mom let me get him is that she didnt think that he would surviveshe is definately regretting it now.
if he is a male i plan on giving him a 55 but if he is a female i will give him a 75.
oh and sunny is probably a midland painted turtle not an eastern![]()

I haven't been online for a few days or I would have told you that they don't usually eat for a few days after hatching till the egg sac is totally absorbed. I am glad they are eating for you now. I have a couple of painteds that were found going the wrong way and semi dried out. They are now several years old. You should keep them. You can never have enough turtles.
