i could of treated the whole tank but then im using more meds per gallon...metronidazole aint cheep...lol he didnt even get to grow out of it =(

You could have saved a fish by treating the entire tank.

When I have to treat with metro, I get the tablets.. they treat 40 gallons each, and I just crush it and add it in the food.

and a 6inch tig in a 20 or 30 gallon seems fine to me as a med tank. idk thats just me. n sorry for your loss

I don't its like a scientifically proven thing.

But I just came across it when I was doing research about Tigs a while back.

Here's a quote:

I pm'd I pm'd T1KARMANN about keeping tigs and he said not "feed salt food like prawn shrimp cockle mussel or krill small tigs cant digest it" so io havent tried krill or shrimp just blackworms cuz thats what they were feeding at all happy. The problem with guppies is that they dont last long in the tank with a pbass and baby IT's. Also i dont want him on feeders. about keeping tigs and he said not "feed salt food like prawn shrimp cockle mussel or krill small tigs cant digest it" so io havent tried krill or shrimp just blackworms cuz thats what they were feeding at all happy. But its just one of those things that I was trying to be cautious about...

update...he is still alive...upside down but still swimming and kicking...so im hoping this passes

Slowly lower the temp to 75. They like cooler waters.

I also think they need the flow, which you can't get in a 20g.

okay an act of god just happend...he threw up the shrimp today...and he is acting a little better swimming normal now. and yes i have slowly been lowering the temp. slowly every couple hours to not stress him.

im wondering if i should do another water change today ?, and yes i do have flow in the tank u gotta see how he was getting spun around last night befor i shut off the hang over for a little and let him regain some energy
