I understand that oddball, but you said...

As it stands, this site has only a couple of options.

-Proven (as in read in the press or court record) scammers are outright banned.

-Remove disputes from the forums since the site will not arbitrate any transaction disputes, per the marketplace rules.

-Ban both parties since we cannot take sides with hearsay circumstantial evidence.

Can't do #1 bc its really he said she said... and being in diff. countries it just would just take forever

Can do #2 BUT you haven't taken some posts on the marketplace off, where pple let other pple know to not buy from a person who scammed them... sooo thats telling me, that IF and im saying IF bc I'm on no1's side on this... but IF i bought something from H20 and didnt get my product i could simply post in the marketplace scammer alert-don't buy from h20 blah blah blah... and it shouldnt get closed bc the others havent

CAN DO #3 which is just ban both parties involved/accused and go on with MFK business...

that why i say #3 is what i figured you were saying to do....

We don't have a 'scammer alert'. What the site offers is a feedback forum for transactions conducted on this site.

...and, you're trying to draw to a quick conclusion. The staff are still investigating whether or not there is any documentation or record of actions concerning all parties that can be proven. So, in effect, all 3 options are viable.

I heard rumors of such all the way into Canada from a LFS. Maybe the stingrays have been overfished! LOL

What comes around goes around! Customers could always make a house call.

TRUE but you are allowing pple to post on the marketplace about being scammed and telling others about the person in question of scamming, but thats against the rules as well.

I'm all for pple speaking their mind and letting other pple know about pple possibly being scammed, just needs to go both ways for site vendors/sponsors....

Mountains out of molehills.

EVERY vendor has transaction issues that usually has 2 sides. Most hobbyists do as well. We should all be glad we have a place like this to get any fish. I wouldn't have rays without this place.

Crap happens and without knowing both sides it's probobly not worth stiring up stuff.....
The transaction stuff is usually best left to be resolved by those involved.

Sorry for your money being stolen. Hope you get this taken care of of.

Yes, true! But...now I will let someone else use their money to bring these fish in just for peace of mind! Something like this happened to me before and I never recovered my money and the vendor closed up!

Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

We allow threads concerning known scammers. Others become a judgement call based on reports from other sites, reputations of parties involved, etc. And close threads immediately once it's known that a transaction was made off of theis site (this is not the BBB). Some posts are questionable as to which category they fit in. So, their disposition may take longer to determine. And, as is the usual case on this site, ...no matter what is done to any particular thread, someone will have a complaint about it. Usually, by someone not even remotely related to the event.
