I'm looking to build an acrylic tank within the next two months. I've been trying to come up with some dimension and fit as much of the tank on one 4'x8' sheet as I can, with no success. Would someone be able to help me come up with a cut sheet for it? I would like to only use 1 sheet of acrylic and I need it between 12"-20". The height doesn't matter too much but I'd like to stick with 3/8" acrylic and from what I understand, the height is what affects the thickness the most. Finally the length, which is also not too important. If I failed to touch on anything, please let me know, thanks.

48 long 16 high and 24 inches front to back will use 1 sheet. Whether 3/8 material is enough for 16 inch depth is something I don't know off hand.

I have built a acrylic fish tank before and I used one 1/4 inch for a foot deep tank. It didn't bend when I filled it up with water. But next time around when I built a deeper tank I'm going to use 1/2 to give it more rigidly.
