ok so i want to add a drip system to my pond.
i will probably just let the filter overflow to get rid of the extra water.
i plan to use the flex hose and a valve like the ones under a sink.
the thing i cant figure out is how to add aqua safe as needed.
and do it cheap
any ideas? tip?
thanks

Come on it's Saturday :chillpill::D.

IV drip type system for the aqua safe.

Why aren't you using the drip irrigation tip for your system? it's cheap.

I.V. Drip; or if you cant find one like me do the following.

1. Get a small plastic tub or container.
2. Drill a small hole into the bottom and shove a coupler for 1/4" irrigation hose into it (it should seal if you drill the hole small enough).
3. Take a short piece (3/4") of 1/4" irrigation hose and attach to the outside end of the coupler.
4. Attach an adjustable ball valve (the small ones designed for 1/4" airlines) to the irrigation hose.
5. Fill with diluted aquasafe or prime and adjust valve to drip as you see fit.

Thats what i do any way.

We have surgical & medical supply stores here. You can also try ebay, they're on there from time to time. Know any Doctors/Nurses? (may be time to make a new friend ;))

Funny you mention that, i actually got several of those HUGE Medicine dropper/syringe looking things from some of my daughters stays at hospitals, those things are great for dosing multiple tanks.

In a drip system, is a water conditioner really necessary? Iv read a few threads where it doesnt matter as it get diluted with the massive amounts of water already treated.
