The ends are called emitters. They were rated at 1gph, but produced probably 10-20gph. On my 250g, the waste tank empties about once every two hours. With the HF emitter it would empty every 15-20 minutes.

At HD and Lowes, you can get emitters rated at .5gph.

How about just using a garden hose and using the spiggot to adjust the flow down to a drip. The problem that you will run into is that as the pressure from the faucet changes, the rate of flow will also change.
cool .5 sounds good
just with reg, hose, ends,it was like 15-20 bucks i think :irked:
garden hose trick might work
like you said tho,it would change alot
remember i posted the hose with a sink valve thing idea already :D
but ya im hooking up to a hose hookup
and i have one of those 3 way hose hookups
1 is a sink,1 is hose, and other will be drip
so ya obviously i have no clue what way to go with this

So it becomes obvious that I didn't read the thread all the way through. :grinno:

The garden hose thing will get you started and you can do it right later after it drives you nuts.

On my outdoor equipment, I don't always run the drip system. I'll shut it off for a few days just to conserve water. My 250g is so over stocked that I wouldn't dare to shut it down for even a day.
