Well he is not really old, but for me he is. Being an x-newbie I bought him the same day I got my first tank. That was april 06. Well now it is May 07. He is only about 8-10"...
Is this normal growth rate?

Because my friend has a blue channel and him grew from 1.5" to 6" within 2 months. How can I get my channel to grow?

Please help me...

How can I get him to grow fast?

Feed him shrimp pellets and algae wafers and he eats those. Water quality is great. 0 0 10

That is UBER slow. From what you say you are feeding him, I dont think he's getting "much". And as somebody else said, water quality could be... or even tank size, in the past year.
In the past I've had them grow to 1 1/2 feet in one year.

He used to eat in the day now I have to feed him at night. Tank is a 75g, which is 4'x18"x18. So he has plenty of room to go. Its annoying me how he is so smalllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you put him directly into the 75, or was he recently moved from a smaller tank?
And feeding him at night is not normal. It sounds water quality issues and/or tankmates being faster to get the food.
His diet also has been pretty bland. You should try a better variety of better foods - Hikari pellets, some meaty foods, worms, and so forth. Frequent water changes as well.

45-50% water changes weekly. He is the biggest fish in there. He was moved into the 75 about 4 months ago. He was in a 29. He did continue to grow in there, not stoping. But at this very slow rate of his. I feed krill to my pbass and oscar every other night. There is always some left over on the bottom. I turn the lights out right after it is in the tank. Anything else you need to know Ill let you know... :(
