Help with Red tail Cat !

Funniest thing he ever ate was an octopus. Swam around with a tentacle hanging out his mouth for quite awhile. Also, the film crew from that show tanked was in the shop cuz they did a giant lava lamp tank next door ( the Spencer's gifts HQ is right next door) and they didn't believe what this catfish could fit in its mouth, so we fed it a 2 foot RTC that someone brought in. Not many people around the Atlantic city area have tanks that big so the big azz trade ins usually need to be culled.

That tank so does not look 4ft wide nor 3.5ft tall either. U can tell by the exit sign above the tank unless your telling me that exit sign measures near 2ft from top to bottom...unless your measuring the wood frame with the tank then I don't believe the acrylic tank itself are those dimensions.

Also in this pic if the RTC is 3.5ft it looks like it barely has any room to turn...I dunno how u measure fish tanks but I'd like to see a pic of the side view of the tank too.

That would be difficult to get to you since the tank is built into the wall with an acrylic viewing window. The fish has to get pretty much vertical in order to turn. But like I said, its not my setup.

Yup u fully exaggerated the size of that RTC and the tank. I knew right away by looking at that exit sign and by the tiles on the ground (each tile measures 12") so I had to call u out :bs: In my eyes that RTC would be 26"-27" max as that exit sign with the 2 square lights on each side only measures 20" length wise and 8" from top to bottom (measurements of exit sign found here http://www.exitlightco.com/pdf/COMBO2.pdf ). If u say that tank was really 4' wide and u say the RTC is 3.5ft then it wouldn't need to go fully vertical just to turn now would it...:screwy: Anyhow I feel bad for that RTC...hopefully someone eventually rescues it with a bigger home...

Nothing I can do really. I may have gotte. Tank dimensions wrong, but it's still the lfs owners pet. Its in the biggest tank in the store, and it's been his pet for 20 years. He rescued it in 92 when it broke its tank at a friends house.
