Just for reference my fish also has no fuzzy fungus like stuff, just an odd raised bump on one side. A little red but mainly white/mouth coloured?

Got 250g of salt coming tomorrow, any other advice? Thought about pimafix but not sure?
 
Pimafix isn't going to help, if I'm going off the pic posted. Not columnarius either. Smithing like a method blue, kanamycin, salt bath.
 
I agree. medifix and pimifix cure nothing, is just a preventative. kaneplex. or polyguard, Methylene blue baths can help also. do not put that in the tank. bath only. or a hospital tank.

I have tetracycline and waterline Octozin.
Could be an infected tooth hole maybe?

an abscess is the most likely cause of the swelling. Something you want to take care of before the fish goes septic. also known as septicemia.
 
Cheers pops, got a full dose of salt for the 300 tonight, do you have any other suggestions. Lfs here don't stock Kanaplex or even know what it is lol, can order online tho. I have methylene blue and Octozin..
 
never used octozin , seems safe but not something i have used before. for the MB use in a bath, again do not add to tank.
 
it will not hurt the fish but if added to tank it will kill your bio filter, its a very broad anti bacterial.
