Salt and fresh water is way better then nasty chemicals imo!

Try api aquarium salt, 1-2 tablespoons per 10gal, if your fish have scales 2 is fine, if they don't stick with 1, keep up on Atleast 1x/week 40-50% wc and cleaning (gravel vac, clean filters once every 1-2 months)

In tanks prevention is the best method for keeping fish healthy, they often times do not show stress until its too late!

Raise temp to 86-88 and add one tablespoon of salt per 5 gallons

U can use any tipe of sal that does not supply iodide and 50% of wc avery day i use this salt after wc 1 a weeck good luck this worck for me

Ok all the ick is gone only 1 or 2 spots on them so just what to thank everyone for there help. ( wants all the spots are gone I'm going to empty the water and clean it out and keep temp at 82° for a while) thanks again MFK.

It is up to you if you want to listen but I can guarantee you that if you do not keep the water at 86 degrees for atleast a week after the last spots disappear, the ich will come back. It is not all dead right now, just sitting on the bottom of your tank until it grows and latches onto your fish again.

It is not all dead right now, just sitting on the bottom of your tank until it grows and latches onto your fish again.

Read those stickies! There is a lot of great info on ich/white spot. Their life cycle and how to treat. Knowing this info will help you understand why to increase the temp, or add salt, or treat for a certain length of time, or vacuum the gravel. We all want to help but sometime it's frustrating.

Ok so should I empty the water and put fresh and keep temp @ 86. All so one of the bass I saw him struck to the filter this morning he's alive. But has a red spot on his tail and just floats around and swims a little.

Sounds like a result of the chemicals you put in. Young p bass are crazy sensitive to chemicals.
