Sam I'm sorry but arowanas are probably too difficult for you to keep. I know you have stated that you have had them die on you before and although we are trying to help I fear that you may need a little more experience first.

I've asked this before in another thread of yours. Why do your parameters vary so much? Your pH levels need to be stable 6.0-7.0 is not stable. Also you have not listed your levels of ammonia, nitrite, or nitrates.

so I am GUESSING that your kH is extremely low. If he's not gulping air then he's not O2 deprived.

I just don't buy it.

This tank sounds like it hasn't been cycled. If you don't test your water sam just tell us so we can get some sleep.
