Hemichromis Fasciatus Spawn!

Only have around 15 Fry from this batch left. The male once again almost killed my female and has been in a 40g breeder for the last 30days or so. Planning on putting them back together but I'd like to get a 125g tank for them.
 
Nice work + fish man, my names will too and I just started trying to breed hemi sp. Neons also hahaha, what size did they breed at? I think I have a pair myself

My pair probably laid their first batch around 3-4". If you enjoy the smaller hemichromis, you should jump I to the 5 spots after. Looks like Rapps just got some WC hemichromis Elongatus in. Give those guys a try, pretty nice looking fish as well!

I'm getting a polypterus teugelse and a couple sataoperca mapiri so I may throw some of these on, think there would be a death fight w/ the sp. Neons? Haha

They probably would fight. I haven't had a crazy H. Elongatus yet. They've always been tamed by a Jag or Devil. My H. Fasciatus is a completey different story. There was no taming him. check Rapps out. I haven't seen WC H. Elongatus in quite a while.
 
Update on my pair. Put the male in with the female about 2 days ago with a divider up. Checked on the fish at 4am and the divider was knocked down! Looks like the female put up a really good fight but she's just no match for the male even tho she's way bigger than him. Don't know what to do now. Hopeing to get them a 125g tank and hope the extra room helps.
 
Looks like these guys have that love hate relationship! Should have another batch here soon! I'm thinking they're probably way to big for a 75g. I'll be picking a 180g up next month so hopefully this helps the fighting.
