how would they work with peacocks or aro's?

Really doesn't matter the size of the arow or the peacock... a 3 inch fahaka would nip them like crazy and destroy their fins... i wouldn't risk it

What is the best and way to keep their teeth filed. Do I have to give them snails? Do the prawnshell file any? And what is IPs?
I just bought i small Fahaka from a LFS. Saved it from dying. The store didn't know how to keep it right. So now i'm trying to save it. Only had it for 2 days, and it's already eating scrimp. So that's a good sign!

Frozen prawns are really good for trimming it's bill... but they have to be frozen... Use medicated salt for basically any type of parasite... as long as it's not far in u should be able to save it... healthy doses of med salt and clean water 25 percent water changes weekly... do not over feed, frozen shrimp is way healthier for them than freeze dried. Once in a blue moon you can feed it a crab or cray fish but NO FEEDER FISH!!!

Please be sure to defrost any frozen foods. It isdn't good for their gut to eat food that is still frozen. Defrost in tank water with a few drops of liquid fish vitamins.
FEEDING YOUR PUFFER
INTERNAL PARASITES

I also found it was much easier to get my fahaka to take new foods when it was young. Now at sixteen inches it can be hard to get her to try something new.

This is true for most fish, but puffers have a special digestive system that allows them to digest hard shells temp doesn't apply to these guys...keeping the shrimp frozen is great for their teeth... do what u want but i made my baby fahaka a monster in no time with this method.

What's the oldest fahaka you have kept?

I have a hard time reading about any self proclaimed expert. Please post all your pictures of your huge fahaka's that you have kept over the years.
