i was waitin for someone to chim in here. im guessing they cut fish? i mean, it doesnt look like a heart to begin with. and how exactly did you "rescue" her?

well someone needed to get rid of this fish and no one else would take it so i took the liberty of setting up an extra 75 gallon i had kicking around and put her in it
i have got alot of mixed opinions on how it came to look the way it did ....some say it was cut but i dont think it was ..there is no way it could have survived and no one else has come up with a simalar photo with parots or flowerhorns....i believe it is a anomale and is cool
i have seen some epic flowerhorns in my day but none looked like this

well fishbum like i previously stated i rescued this fish
would you have me let it die?
or should i have set up a tank to keep it?
i think ill save the fish instead
and if you dont like hybrids you should not be keeping a flowerhorn yourself or parrots for that matter if you were realy concerned about fish welfare......
but thats my oppinion on that
FWIW BRAH
"The Flowerhorn cichlid is the result of crossing many different types of South American cichlids with each other"

i dont even understand your reasoning. i keep fish because i enjoy the hobby and take pride in keeping beautiful fish, but this is just....WOW!!! i also have to agree with fishbum, had you let that fish sit in your lfs, it may make them realize to not carry something like this. i don't even understand why your lfs had to begin with?
