Lol this fish in a pond would be real interesting to feed with a pole from afar. It's like a mini great white shark.. one that can't stay in the same position glaring you down. Meter long aimara will forever be on my bucket list. Lol and if I ever had a moat around my house I'd put in a squad of bull sharks hahaha

Price was never revealed. Importer basically said that the customer was willing to pay any price for a true monster that could make it to china. Lol I'm guessing mid six figures in rmb at the least. I may be far off.

mine are 9-10" & 14-15" so when theyre that big ill update this thread from the dead lol....

Hahaha I have one around 15" or so too. Not sure if ours would ever grow that huge just like how most black rhoms in captivity never reach the size of the Wild caught ones. The large ones here were all imported in at the very least 24" for them to grow to a truly formidable size.

I guess it depends on genetics, feeding and conditions for the final size. But i think only the wild caught ones often hit max size for many species

i hope mine get big, i dont mind a over grown beast either. mine are in a
6x3 right now so hopefully its enough room to grow large. what size tank
is yours in?
