Ahhh, I hate play sand. White sounds very nice though. Play sand does take forever to clean and I simply hate the texture and cloudiness that occurs with fast moving fish. I had play sand in my 125g and removed it all with fish and water in there using python tubing and replaced it with PFS. It was a horrible nightmare mess but way worth it to get rid of that damn play sand.

lol i didnt know all i knew it was cheap and looked better than the beach sand i was gonna get

and here is an update on pics. first are the reason i needed to get into something so retardedly big then some pics of the setup started to load up pond matrix, and then the beast in his new home (with 200 comets)

and yes i know the water is brown in the 1st pics, i liked it like that, and the water isnt as cloudy as it looks in the pics, but looking through 8 feet of water makes it look more milky than it is.

his new home is right next to his old one and in the process of moving him 3 feet, he dumped easily 5 gallons of water, tore straight through my net, went into a trashbag full of water, and then tore through that into the big tank, not a cooperative fish at all.

fts is tough to get back far enough and it looks really cloudy if i get the lights in, he is a rtcxtsn and i got him under 2 inches on xmas eve and now hes like 15" after less than 5 months
