here we go again festae or not

Sometimes stores get in new fish before they get around to erasing old names. Often times priority in the moment is to get the fish safely into the tank with the goal of changing names/prices soon after, but that does not always happen in a timely manner.

I am not saying the employee should not have pointed out that these are not festaes, but there does need to be some level of knowledge on the part of the customer too.

I know, I spend a good amount time in my lfs. I'm friends with the owner and staff. I always help them when they get new shipments in. My original comment was more directed at the employee who sold them.
