Yea I did. It said add to the water one scoop per gallon. There was also a feeding instruction. Can I do both? It doesn't say I cant but I want your advice

I wouldnt. If you can get him to eat then by all mean feed it to him. They only time you should put it the in the water is if you can't get the metro in side of the fish. If you are dosing the water take a little tank water and warm it up. Mix the metro in that water then dump it into the tank

I believe it's 1 scoop to 10 gallons of water for metroplex.

Well he won't eat food so I mixed it in tank water and then pored it in. I tried to force feed him a little of it but it just failed. I used like half the dosage. I will be doing a water change every morning and other day I'll add more of the stuff in.

I'm only gonna make a suggestion to you, you can chose to follow or do as you please. Follow the directions completely and throughly. Don't half dose or overdose. It will work if you let it.

Every time you do a wc you should redose the tank at full strength. 10 gallon= 1 scoop for a min of 5 days preferably 10 days.

Well that's why I asked lol on the directions it doesn't say I can or can't use it with the food at the same time in the tank. I did the full dose in the tank water like it said. I also did a half dose in the food and tried to get him to eat it. I don't think he swallowed any of it because a lot came out when I put him back in the water. I will not try it again. I will just put it in the water. Here is what the instructions said.

From my understanding metro loses its effectiveness in water in a short time frame. I would do a 40% wc then does full strength 1 scoop. Wait 24 hrs do a 40% wc and dose again full strength. Repeat those steps for min of 5 days but ideally 10
