Just curious because 46 gallons seems a little much for 2 5 inch fish

I've been staying in the safety of the piranha section and gar section. Seems to be moron proof for today atleast. hahaha

It would be like being trapped in you room for the rest of your life, why don't you just pick a smaller fish out? Maybe Exodons or something?

I guess, if you really want a 6 inch fish in a 10 inch wide tank. Bigger is always better but you're probably "safe" with proper filtration.

Please, please don't keep him long term in a 14 gal tank. I agree with the petsmart link above, minumum tank size is 30 gal.

Leaf Fish need a large aquarium that's at least 30 gallons.

... it bugs me that petsmart calls them "Leaf Fish"... this is a misnomer, not true leaf fish

figure about an inch a month if growth is good. maybe 3 months?
