Hey guys n gals ts been awhile... new monster addition.... (Liz pay attention =D)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
the black one cuddled up to Bear is Jess she is a black Labrador but a pretty short lab and a bit over weight she has a ridiculously high food drive it is obscene...

He is doing so good.. could you tell me what your feeding him... i have ditched dog food myself... i feed oatmeal and brown rice, yogurt, cottage cheese, boiled chicken, eggs and sweet potato and pumkin.. infact easy to make sweet potato treats.. just slice them small ..put on cookie sheet in oven on 350 degrees UNTIL crispy so they are chewy..packed with vitamins .. try it.. he will love them..

im pretty much thinking the same thing myself, Im just trying to do some research into getting a good balance and trying to provide a varied diet constantly providing his dietary neeeds, particularly his calcium intake with out over supplementing him, i dont see the point in going all natural human grade root just to bung a load of powder on his food... Im going to try to stick to human grade ingredients. At the moment he is on a local dog food Dry kimble and tins mixed with a egg or two a day. but its as expensive as doing it myself and id rather do that just read a lot of things about unbalanced diets being detrimental and wana or rather need to get it right for a puppy growing as quick as him!

and thanks ill definitely try the sweet potato treats!

Thanks a lot. i always wondered ^^ sooooo smart and kind breed

 Keep this thread going with up-dates & pictures of growth of this awesome breed. Not your average dog to take down to your local Petsmart, but it can be accomplished with extensive socialization & maybe a muzzel for backup. Probably will be my next breed down the road, so I am very interested with your success with Bear.

wow that dogs cool! I asked my dad if hes seen caucasian shepherd (he´s from Turkmenistan)
and he said "yeah they are one of the biggest dogs I´ve ever seen"
they also have a similar breed called Turkish Shepherd and they are one of the worlds most powerful dogs apparently...

If you search pics of Caucasian sheperd online you get some really cool images of them. They are pretty damn huge
