Hi, my name is Meagan and im from Denton, Tx. Ive been patiently waiting to have my new 120 gallon fish ready and that happened about a week ago. So i have a cichlid tank and i have had one before but this time my fiance decided he wanted more color and picked up some from walmart... i dont know what all of these are or if theyre even compatible with the rest of the tank. I havent seen any aggression

I started with:
1 frontosa
6 clown loaches
1 colombian spotted pleco
1 yellow lab
1 flameback cichlid

Walmart mystery fish:
2 bala sharks?
Demasoni?
Orange fish
Yellow black horizontal stripe fish
Light Blue and black vertical stripe fish
Black bright blue horizantal stripe fish

Yes i am aware i will need to upgrade to a larger tank as they get bigger but help identifying or tips right now would be helpful.

Also when i go back to my mothers she has asked for help identifying the fish that came in a pond with her new home. Some very large koi and Tons of sarass goldfish. But theres a white one we cant identify.

Thank you great to be here

Sounds like an awesome tank, pics would help with your ids... I've got seven clowns and can't decide on tank mates in their 120. Right now it's 10 tiger barbs but I don't think I can resist something special, a flame back has been on the list. Does it work well with your loaches, sorry to ask you for help in your own help request...

It does actually, he doesnt really pay any attention to the loaches. I was worried but at this point everything in the tank is pretty peaceful! hopefully im not jynxing anything! i tried getting pics of all the fish but some are more shy than others. Do you recognize anything?20160109_192054[1].jpg 20160114_135458[1].jpg 20160109_191855[1].jpg 20160109_192115[1].jpg 20160114_135522[1].jpg 20160114_135555[1].jpg 20160108_135848[1].jpg 20160114_135322[1].jpg

Glad to hear it they look great! In the first pic it almost looks like a blue Botia loach not a bala shark behind your rock arch if that's one of the ones in question.... They look like a bluish red tailed shark kinda

Your blue and black cichlid could be a demasoni but looks more like a Kenyi to me.... I am no expert at all though

The red guy looks like a red zebra...... And if the blue one looks like the other one with horizontal stripes you could have a pair of auratus.... The males r bluish
