I think your plan to hang out with her and be friends is a good idea, and her parents may apprecaite that more. My mom and dad both hated every guy I ve dated untill now. They love my boyfriend now. Hes intrested in things. Hes in school, he has a job, he always makes a point to talk to them (which my mom loves), he calls me to make sure I am home if I drive, he always comes to the door to pick me up, and walks me to the door when he drops me off. Hes a great guy and has a good head on his shoulders and knows how to treat someone good =]. Oh did I mention age isnt anything but a number! My bf is younger then me and I am fine with it.
Just prove to them that you can be a good guy, you got your head on straight give them reasons to like you and dont give them reasons to dislike you (if thats possble in some cases). Just realize its hard for parents to let their kids grow up. They were teens once to so they know exactly what its like and what can go on.

trust me you would want to wait to get to know her parents because if she isnt worth waiting for then you really dont care enough about her. let me say this, sometimes if you wait long enough, you will get your wish or the right person will come along. when my daughter becomes age to date, the guy will be asked alot of questions by my father in law and of course my husband.
I'm going through this at the moment however my daughter has a bit more of a head on her shoulders and has no intention of getting tyed down this early in life. All any guy who wants to go out with her needs to do is to pass the wolf test. He goes out into the yard with the wolves....they are fantastic judges of charictor.... if he survives...the dates on. if not....then at least the wolves got fed.
