Ive got one of my platinums blues breathing heavy and almost appears to have ammonia burns to the point where a hole formed in his dorsal fin leading to the entire thing being weakened and slowly ripping down the middle. I’ve done acouple almost 90% water changes and he still doesn’t appear to be getting any better. And ideas and suggestions anyone could have may help. Thank you. Ps. I know this isn’t a monster fish

Post some pics. Any water parameters available? Tankmates?
Tankmates consisted of about 9-10 other angels and about 3 smaller Severums and one larger but there never seemed to be any picking from what I noticed. They’re all pretty small so there in a 55g tank now.
Would separate and build it up. Then return back to the tank. Clean water should heal it up. Would get a qtip and hydrogen peroxide and blot/dab the affected areas with it. Avoid contact with the gills at all costs.
