This was a ten gallon that I got from petco dollar per gallon sale. It took me about 40 mins to turn this into a rimless. I think it looks pretty nice. Now just need to think of something to do with it haha.

never tried my hand at a planted before. what is a good looking amateur care plant to start with? Also, what type of soil/substrate should I use? :nilly:

Stunning and so simple! Just slide a razor up under the molding I've read. Was it a lot of elbow grease or pretty smooth sailing?

I'm doing that with my 5g here in a few weeks. I'm thinking native invert w/ no fish but maybe a tapeworm. :D

Glad you're asking the questions for me. I'll subscribe and watch. ;)

Not a ton of elbow grease at all, just have to be careful when removing the trim and then scraping the excess silicone off. The glass is pretty thin.

seeing all these awesome builds makes me wanna do something too, i just get lazy lol. man i really need to start doing some projects.
