WOW i would totally invest in a tank to keep just a pair in if i could get some of these guys.....aquarium paradise, hmmmm...... LOL

Mo, I can honestly say that you have got me into wanting a Jag. From Jumbo to these Hondurans I am hooked. problem is I am a perfectionist and won't settle for anything less then the nice ones you show us atleast once every 2 weeks. I hope you hook Jeff Rapps or Ken Davis with some so they can make this Variant more accessable to the hobby opposed to the watered down ones we see in most petshops that are several generations of Brothers/Sisters spawning. I can't tell you how poor the stock is in Vegas that I have seen.

If I ever Make it to another ACA, I'll be sure to grab some if you bring them. I also will need security to escort me back to my car until the wife calms down as I am sure she will kill me.

Funny you should mention that. I tried to bring Ken one of the large males from the pond to replace the one he lost. I had several boxes of fish that I was bringing to sell...including some of the Managuense. I couldn't fit that last box into the Vette. I have offered up fry a couple times in the past and thee was never a real rush on them. I think with the conversation here I'm going to have to set aside a tank for some grow outs.

Thanks Scott.

Hey Mo, while we are on the subject.Would normal colored jags from Kens' xanthic pair be the same as these or are they from a differen't body of water in Honduras

No problem, I just call it how I see it. They probly didn't due to the fact you see Jags everywhere. Not sure how you had them labled, but with a picture of their parents and that these are yours I would think would be enough as well know as your Jags are to sell out fast.

People are just used to petsmart/petco Jags which compared to what I have seen out here are high quality.:irked: I have actually seen jags that were stunted in ways where they just looked like a jag head with a tail. The head large enough to belong to a atleast 12" jag on a 6" Jag having trouble keeping balance because it's body is too small. Sad.

Another part of the quality of these fish is your passion for them. The more passionate a pearson is about something, the more they put into it. In your case, your fish. Which is definently a credit to how well they look.

I have said it before and I'll say it again Mo, your the Managuense King.:mwave:

I wasn't aware Ken had a Xanthic pair. Did he post a picture of them. I'd like to see them. I don't know enough about his fish to answer that question. These were collected in La Cieba.

Thanks Scott. I have six Managuense in total. That's more of them than any other fish save maybe Convicts and Labridens.
