From what i remember of bravhearts pics of inter, and given the locale, i'd wager they were brasiliensis and not inter. But i am always happy to be corrected.

Cichla piquiti(azul) comes out of the Rio Tocantins, Rio Araguaia, and their tributaries if that helps with localities

I have confirmed the capture location of Tigs wolf from his supplier as minas gerais region which is typical of intermedius and brasiliensis.

I think tigs wolf more closely resembles the wolf below which is the image braveheart has stipulated as being intermedius.

Well bro the marking dun look like
but the head is a match... Base on the mouth
so my intermedius is a lacerdae???
Or both of us is intermedius only the ID as lacerdae is wrong??

I think this is how intermedius look like when it is bigger...

look the same as my small ones right..
