Really super pissed and frustrated right now. I bought 5 fish and was supposed to receive them today...UPS damaged the box somehow and some of the fish died....here is the part that gets even more ridiculous! The package was already in my city and only about 15 minutes from me, I called them immediately when I checked online and saw that it was damaged...they refused to deliver the remaining package to me, so I offered to even go pick it up as I told them it was LIVE FISH and they need to get in a tank ASAP. They refused and said they need to send the package BACK to the shipper and then air-ship it back to me!!???!! WTF??? What is the point of driving it back 1000 miles, then shipping it BACK here when I could have picked it up TODAY!??! The fish have already been in the box 2 days, and now that the box is damaged and they need to ship it back...there is a 99% chance I'm going to receive a box full of dead fish in the couple days.. WTF!?!!? What would you guys do? I spent a good deal of money on the fish and shipping and have NOTHING to show for it now.... WWYD?
PS. When I bought the fish I requested overnight shipping, the seller decided to ship it 2nd day without informing me before hand....
bad enough the natives holocaust is neglected. Im not german though so stop wasting your time with stupid stereotypes against a country that is superior in evry aspect. I like to live here. All the reasons to live in Germany:
1. You can post obtuse rants about the USA neglecting a fish holocaust.
How do you know some of the fish died when you haven't seen the package? If UPS decided to send the package back to the shipper, you may just let them do that, and request refund from the seller if the fish died, since he shipped it 2nd day, instead of Next Day
Perhaps, you should follow your own advice
did she say why they do that? That looks completly senseless for me.I talked to supervisor, she indicated some fish had died and they DISCARDED them and decide to ship the remaining package back to sender on the truck...then air-ship the same package back to me. I'm really dumbfounded why they would even do that...
I'll play devil advocate.. Are you sure if the seller shipped 2nd Day, or did he ship it Overnight guaranteed delivered by or before 10:30am, and you missed the delivery?I tried calling to go pick up the package as soon as I woke up at 1 pm, called them immed so I could 1. request them deliver it to me or 2. go pick it up myself, by the time I got to a supervisor..the package was on the way back to sender which is absurd
