Just like the real worl "Buyer Beware"

A fool and his money are easily parted

Well like I said. You can't delete your own membership, because to my understanding they want to keep as many members because they get more money from the sponsors. If that's not true it would make sense to address that statement. Just because someone isn't making enough money to support what ever they're investing in doesn't take away the possibilty of greed.

Where exactly is your 'understanding' coming from?

I would think for sponsors unique visitors or some other traffic metric would be used not just generic member totals. Sounds like tin foil hat time.

Oh you mean like the Susan G. Komen foundation is about funding breast cancer research. Yet some of the people that run that foundation seems to pay themselves well for their efforts.

You're on a roll tonight. I love the month the NFL wears blue for MFK month. And how every major US city has an MFK marathon collecting money....good comparison there

It was from another thread on here, so hardly scientific. No one disputed it though. I think potential customers are worth something. That's why Facebook for example can make so much on adds, because it's popular and there are millions of members.

That's not at all what I mean. None of the staff makes a cent off of this site.

I was just saying that because a website or group is setup to talk about fish for example doesn't mean that people aren't trying to make money off of it.

I wasn't sure what you were saying. I thought you were just making a smart remark was all, so I responded the same. I actually would like to see Neo have this website self sustaining and make a little money off of it. It's a great website he offers here and you guys do a good job of keeping the shine on it.

The reality is that each time Neo has gotten close to breaking even on this site (as well as the other sites) he's gone out of his way to invest in improvements to the sites. These, of course, come with a monetary price he has to pony up. His main concerns revolve around keeping the site software packages current, improving server speeds and archiving, and paying for designer/coding fees/time for the development of aps to interract with the sites via mobile technology. It takes quite a bit to keep things working in the background so the site access and features appear as seamless as possible to the members using and enjoying the site(s).

I for one am very great full for all that Li and the staff do. I would never even think for a second that he would take advantage of anyone. In fact he has gone out of his way to help many people.

Being a mod or admin is a very thankless job. Nobody stops to thank them when the thousands of things that happen correctly go down it is always when the crap hits the fan that everybody pays attention to who the mods are

But to remain on topic feedback should under no circumstances be removed without the person who posted it's consent. It is impossible for the staff to monitor every ones feedback but very easy for me to sift through a single person I am thinking about purchasing from and draw my own conclusion after I ask them about any concerns I may have.
