While your at it, how about teaching a little empathy.Could you guys teach me how to speak arowana too?
Or more considerate. That’s because most here have unrealistic expectations
That’s a whole different conversation. We’re arguing over a couple feet of tank space with a 3’ fish. If we were talking about whether they should be in a large pond or not sold so commonly, I’d tend to agree, but saying an 8’ tank is bad vs a 10’ tank is ridiculousI bet they don't in the wild. Just goes to show even public aquariums arguably aren't suitable for such fish.
That sounds like humanizing of fish to me.While your at it, how about teaching a little empathy.
When did I say that? That’s a whole different conversation. We’re arguing over a couple feet of tank space with a 3’ fish. If we were talking about whether they should be in a large pond or not sold so commonly, I’d tend to agree, but saying an 8’ tank is bad vs a 10’ tank is ridiculous
You want us to be considerate to our fish? Should we say please and thank you and tell it it’s a pretty fish?Or more considerate.
How do you know that they dont look like that in the wild? So now your saying even with huge tank with thousands of gallons and huge foot print is still not big enough to be keeping aros in the hobby?I bet they don't in the wild. Just goes to show even public aquariums arguably aren't suitable for such fish.
You can have empathy for an animal without humanizing it. I'm well aware it's a fish. That sounds like humanizing of fish to me.
