That (IMO) would be crucial towards ensuring that poachers and farms do not further deplete wild stocks in their bid to garner their piece of the pie from US sales. This way the US gets asian aros, the farmers reap profits, and the wild stocks are left intact to continue rebounding in their numbers. And the permit money can aid in the conservation efforts.
