The fish that required higher levels of oxygen didn't make it. The angels live in still warm water where oxygen levels are lower than that in cooler faster flowing areas. This makes me suspect lack of oxygen from power outage.

x2

I would think power outage. Call local company and check. That could possibly rule that out. Cleaning supplies by sup, if not sabatoge!!!!!

and I am very sorry to hear about your loss..

sad loss bro, it sounds like the oxy levels dropped hence the over populated tank and waste contributed to the death of the fish. more then likely some one was hating on more then likely or power outage. all ph no2 no3 levels were equal? or how were they looking like post some pix thanks

wow..im sorry about the loss...I dont really understand how most of the fish died if the power went out. It is extremely weird that all the parameters are perfect. I am curious to find the answer.

when in doubt, blame global warming

This is a sad moment - I feel for you bro.

It was probably a power shortage, but 450 fish! I'd be like crazy if that happened! I could also guess that people came in and delibritly did something horrible... :(
