How do I get a dat off live?

True , it has happened to a couple of mfk members, but it is very unlikely to happen..
Ask yourself, do I want my ntt's eating feeders their whole life time?
If u do decide to do it, fatten them up on whatever they will eat first

my ngt would ONLY eat bloodworm. It took 8 months before he would eat frozen prawn & muscle, and during that 8 months, I only fed bloodworm x2 per month to make sure it did not starve. All other time prawns and other frozen. Guess he got sick of being hungry,

They were 1" What was you thinking? Starved to death!

I would suggest you to grow him out to 2"-3", put some weight on him, before start switching him off live food. At that size, they need to eat! That's the most important!

ok. Im just annoyed of the fact that I have 3 and the other two eat sinking pellets. He is the only picky one

I have 2 that I havent seen eat yet also... but everyone else eats diced market shrimp so im assuming it will be shortly before they do.

about the small 1"ers, Id slam them with feeders till they hit atleast 3"

I got them from a friend. He got them on pellets but recently one of them decided he wanted to be picky so I did not feed him for 3 days. Now I can see his skull. At least now he is feeding on shrimp

Didn't have to starve them at all they took the shrimp right away. I got lucky.

At 1 inch, the ntt is prob a bit to small. I would grow it to at least 3 inch first before starving. That's how big my ngt was when I starved him.

Oh for the 1 incher, he only wanted to eat bloodworms and feeder guppies. I starved him for 3 days and today he took chopped up shrimp. He would not even look at the sinking pellets the other two were taking. What really frustrates me is the fact that he once ate sinking pellets as well but changed the day my mom decided to give the dats a treat..
