alright, first i have to say that is an impressive goldfish.
second, i agree that fish and dogs could be a fairly close comparison in terms of breeding for what people want. i've found a lot of people to be rather contradictory on the subject of selectivly bred fish. someone that says blood parrots and orandas are an abomanation will turn around and talk about the impressive flowerhorn or rtcx they just bought. beauty is in the eye of the beholder. my wife doesn't understand why i baby my "big ugly fish"(my jag), but i think it's a beautiful fish. peaple have different tastes, and like it or not hybrids are here to stay as they have been for hundreds of years.

Anyway, if you dont want opinions dont ask. I fully believe that as long as there is a dollar to be made, in anyway, some weirdo will arrange to do it, If someone thinks a 2 legged dog with its tail where its head ought to be, IT will be made. Or a fish so deformed that it cant even swim, and you have to feed it with a squirt bottle. I, would not have either of those, BUT if the author of this thread thinks they are cute, more power to him
