how do you get rid of illegal fish

laws vary by state, each state targets different offenses differently, and the justice system doesnt always work the way it should. I know various people that have gotten a slap on the wrist for drug charges while other people have done years in prison for a lesser offense. Why? who knows. Im sure you would get more time for having a snakehead than you would for having a walking catfish. both illegal species but one is somehow worse? I dont get it, but im not a lawyer and im not a politician. Im just a simple fishkeeper
 
Your not supposed to eat aquarium fish mainly because they have been exposed to chemicals you should be eating. Plenty of storied out of there of people eating their fish that passed away and getting sick shortly afterwards.

I'm sure it was one time thing so it won't hurt anything...so eat one aquarium fish won't kill you.

No it won't kill you but your gonna feel nauseated for awhile.
 
Chemicals in any meds such as anti parasitic meds, ich meds etc... A lot of them say not safe to use on fish for human consumption...
