Dude, the fish looks at his parents when they are born.

Yes, but you are overestimating their ability to think. They don't go "Hmm, that just gave birth to me, I must look the same."

Same can be asked how does a fish know who to go batsh@t with if he has never seen his own image? For example Betta only go ape***** with another Betta but they don't know how they themselves look like.

Let's say mirror hasn't been invented and if you are a black person and tried to shoal with a group white people what will happen? What if you are a white person and tried to hang out with a group black people what will happen?

You probably stick up like a sore thumb and get a weird vibe from the dominate group. That's the same with fish. The fish standing out will know he is shoaling with the wrong school after being rejected one too many times.

Im confused by this one. Because no matter of race we are all the same species. So how does this have any thing to do with anything. A ebjd knows it is the same species as a jd. I am in no way trying to be rude. Just stating the ovious

That's the point. If your own species doesn't even like you what makes you think another species will shoal with you, except for puppies.

I'd say it's tough to know for sure.

I think a lot of it is hormones. Studies on people had people sniffing each other's gym clothes and their favorite scent was the person with the best/most compatable immune system. I am sure these people didn't know ahead of time that these people had healthy and strong immune systems and good genes, but hormones released drew them closer.

Also, I don't think most fish care much about their own existence in the eyes of other fish. What you look like, is only important because you are being seen. I think in the wild, fish don't form bonds like they do in captivity and don't really think about other fish as creatures as much. They would mostly see food (smaller fish), imminent danger (large and moving objects including other fish), and buffer (smaller fish that they can hide in to avoid predation).

I think it's a lot simpler than we assume. For instance, I found this mess in my filter recently:
