I'm in that over 65 group people worry about on TV.

But from what I'm seeing it's not my old friends, but the young people who act worried the most.

This is what I see coming: More fear mongering, hoarding and scalping, typical selfish behavior.
But a year from now we will all feel so silly that it was the end of the world.

This train will get back on the track. Some of us won't be on it. Might be me, might be you.

But when is life ever more certain than that?

Here it was recently the opposite, anyone under 30 didn't care at all. Last weekend the whole country started to take it very seriously. Definitely a good thing, it's still spreading but it's not out of control yet.
Personally now I have been working from home for a few days and not listening to the news on the radio in the car all day I am more chilled about it. I would recommend a media blackout for a few days if anyone is too anxious about it.
Stage 2 lockdown for us now, politicians warning stage 3 is inevitable.

Jexnell Jexnell , look after yourself man, good luck

Folks in California resort towns say the tourists won't stay home. They are spreading germs and buying out the small local stores.
Residents are asking for road blocks, ID checks, and have threatened to slash tires of visitors!

Now, HOW the holy EFF do they leave then?
They're stuck in your town!
With germs and flat tires!

I hope I don't see that idiocy around here.

What personal life? lol

This pandemic has pretty much consumed my day to day life. I work in several different senior health care facilities, now isolated to one, except when on emergency on-call. Building operations & maintenance, including medical equipment, and including in resident rooms when necessary. I'm also in the high risk category, 60+, heart disease, high BP, and type 2 diabetes. The only advantage I have is I am still tough as nails, and ornery as they come. I should be ok, but I would be lying if I said that I wasn't scared right now, for myself and my wife who also has health issues. If any of our team at work gets sick, I may end up working 24/7. Here in Alberta, we have only seen the tip of the iceberg, I'm afraid that things are going to become very real, very soon.

Stay safe everyone!

Stay safe RD!

in speaking with my dr yesterday she told me Alberta is doing good at slowing the spread as a province but Canada as a whole is trending in the way of Italy. (She looked worried when talking to me)

Im in so cal
Things have changed takes forever to get into a store
I still find what i need for my family of 4
My work has temporarily shut down to be cleaned but I’m a lucky one and my job is considered an essential service
So I return next week with some new rules like new divided lunches and breaks
So far so good can’t say I know anyone sick yet

I've stayed home for 4 days now. I ventured out today to the grocery at 2PM for the first time since Friday. I thank God I am retired.

But seemingly things in Clovis aren't too bad yet. People are out much less. Traffic is sparse.

No TP, but paper napkins and paper towels were available in small quantities.

A couple east coast brands seemed in short supply, but plenty of meat, milk, eggs, butter, cheese, canned goods, and veggies except lettuce was almost gone. Ordinary bread was abundant, but there was no Rye bread of any brand. I got some lovely wild salmon.

I went to Lowes and bought some lumber and a cabinet. It was almost empty, while Walmart was not normal, but still far from empty. I never had to wait in line to get in. Checkout lines were a bit long.

The garden shop was lovely and empty.

That’s amazing.... I’ve been watching but not seen any...thankfully we had our usual Costco supply here...

I’ve been home for 10 days? Lots of water changes... and cleaning the house...

I like the advice of stay home....

Gonna be a long spring...

stay safe all!

They built a new Costco two miles from my house and they deliver. We renewed our card online today so we wouldn't have to go in. I also bought my new fishing license online but I'm going to have to dig my worms because they closed the bait shop.
