About 2 weeks ago the Panamanian government decided to loosen restrictions on movement, at the time, there were about 13,000 confirmed cases of Covid.
This week after the confirmed case load jumped to over 20,000, restrictions and isolation are reinstated.

I keep having dreams about going into stores without my mask

Our death rate has risen to about 2x what it was per week, over the past 60 days. This parallels the overall COUNTY test rate. So far 58 of 1 million have perished, related to corona. Nearly every one was 10+ years older than I and in worse health. We have lost a few Drs and nurses though. ;(

I eat well, get lots of sun working outdoors, and avoid public contact, which is normal for me, but I've certainly become more reclusive. I haven't been to the target club in over 2 months. I was going about every 2 weeks last summer.

The initial fishing surge has likely tapered off, and I will try to take Judy fishing in the electric boat this week.

The weather has been really nice but blustery. Air pollution is low. I'm praying for a reduction in respiratory cases due to that. We have a lot of lung issues in the SJ Valley from smog, dust, and mold spores, pollen, and smoking. I hope people have been trying to avoid such.

Just had a successful doctors appointment and scheduled a follow up in a year when *hopefully* this virus is gone.

Good for you. And even better that you are so good at getting next years lined up!

I avoid my yearly..... it’s been a couple years. Haha.

I am spending a lot more time with my fish, and working outside more.
But today we will go out shopping and it's been a week.
I expect Lowes will be crowded.
I want to eat in a real restaurant again.

Judy and I have been together 30 years, and I don't recall a time where we went for months without eating out.

That's quite some time! Hopefully you two can find something special

Plenty of time for waterchanges..

Next monday we get the next level of restrictions lifted. Resteraunts can have more customers and gyms will reopen.
Ive been missing the gym but not sure if i should rush back, yesterday we has 21 new cases in my state which is the most in 1 day since early april so im thinking easing the restrictions as we have been might not be a good thing yet.

Hello; I also will not be heading back to a gym right away. In fact I do not know if my gym has survived the economic crunch. My reason for being hesitant is that I have two of the bad comorbidities. I am old and have one other. For younger healthier people the risk of a bad outcome from an infection is much lower.
I could make a case either for or against easing restrictions depending on which fear I pinned the case on. However I will not. Been thru that and know it does not work out. The stuff of a private message I suppose. I will add a bit of trivia.
Found a recording I made a few months ago. It is of one of the last XFL football games played. I have been watching the game when I take breaks. NY vs Dallas. I had come to like the XFL format after watching a few games. The games moved quicker among other improvements. Worth watching anyway. That league was a victim of at least in part the new virus. Might not have made it anyway as it was a new experiment. I may have college football next fall, maybe???.
I did not get to struggle thru the 24 hours of LeMans nor will the Tour de France occupy July this year. I did get the 24 hours of Daytona back in January. Little did I suspect at that time how the world would change. As Stephen King might say "the world moved on" . Could we somehow be in a King like story decided by a cosmic roll of the dice of blind chance? A tipping point of fate where the tiny speck of a virus started the dominoes falling including not only a health domino but some others I will not name as well.

For me the lack of a gym is not such a loss so far. I am still in the spring and have been active around my home. I have grass to push mow and things to fix. You are heading into winter I guess. Good luck with you decision.
