I think she is ok only cause she hides. She is no dummy. The nurse has been in her cave ever since I put the grouper in. I think I am just going to set my old pond back up for him till I can make sure he goes to a good home.

Those groupers are insane. And it's amazing what they grow from - my LFS has a pair of baby bumble bee groupers that are like 1.5" long. Itty bitty.

Love the pics - I keep meaning to try my GoProHD camera during feeding time - would make for some awesome video (caught some video of me and my buddy playing with an octopus at about 90' last week on a night dive - very cool).

Yeah -it sounds like it would be best to move the Grouper. And leave all the sharks in the big pond.

I do have plans to build a much larger tank in the future. I am not sure what shape or size yet but it will be in the 40,000- 50,000 gal range.

I would suggest look at some designs for smaller public aquariums - and maybe consider building a scale version. Either that or plan something in an oval or oblong octogon design. Or another option would be a large inground swimming pool converted to shark lagoon-as there are some really nice plans for pools.

I have a couple of ideas and I think I am going to use the elasmobranch husbandry manual as a guide. I am always open to suggestion though you can always learn from other people.
