Will the nurse shark be allright with the grouper since he has a big apetite?

I think she is ok only cause she hides. She is no dummy. The nurse has been in her cave ever since I put the grouper in.:( I think I am just going to set my old pond back up for him till I can make sure he goes to a good home.

Those groupers are insane. And it's amazing what they grow from - my LFS has a pair of baby bumble bee groupers that are like 1.5" long. Itty bitty.

Love the pics - I keep meaning to try my GoProHD camera during feeding time - would make for some awesome video (caught some video of me and my buddy playing with an octopus at about 90' last week on a night dive - very cool).

I would like to see the octopus video. I am going to try to get some better shots of the boys tonight.

Ok Jabba here you go again making us envy you out there diving and then you dont show us any pics?

I do have plans to build a much larger tank in the future. I am not sure what shape or size yet but it will be in the 40,000- 50,000 gal range.

I would suggest look at some designs for smaller public aquariums - and maybe consider building a scale version. Either that or plan something in an oval or oblong octogon design. Or another option would be a large inground swimming pool converted to shark lagoon-as there are some really nice plans for pools.

I have a couple of ideas and I think I am going to use the elasmobranch husbandry manual as a guide. I am always open to suggestion though you can always learn from other people.
