Depends on how big the ornates are. I would personally drop the catfish and keep larger bichirs first, grow them out to 12" or so, then get the arrow and bass. Plus that would give you more time to save up for a larger tank. Or, get a 75gal grow out tank for your bichirs and keep the arow and bass in the 220gal.

Good if the peacocks are the smaller species...I think you can ask the bass guys for which one...anyway, have fun . If you go over board with it, you can always trade in

I won't be getting these fish until sometime next summer. I will probably be moving and if I got them now I would probably end up having to rehome them.

Good news guys! My Dad is considering letting me build an indoor pond!! He likes fish and he's pretty cool so I think he'll end up saying yes. I'm thinking 7' or 8' in length 4' wide and 18" tall. How many gallons do you guys think that would be and could 2 Arowana live comfortably in there for life?

8x4x18"= 360gallons. Yea since the tank is wider than most aros are long I think that'd do. Just make sure no little kids put their hands in there since its only 18" lol.
