I have been a fish-keeper since I was about 5 year old with my dad. First few fishs was just regular guppy we caught in the river and lake. I am 29 now and still enjoy this hobby very much!

i am always happy to hear Dad passed his fishkeeping interests to his son... nice that you had and have that hobby interest together..

When I was a baby, if I was fussy, they'd just stick me in front of the tank and I'd shut up and watch the fish.

oh that is really cool.... i hope she carries the fishkeeping on to her own children someday... it is absolutely great when parents share their hobby with their kids.. teaching them young... no matter what hobby it is..that bond starts right there and continues to grow strong.

the ocean is the best tank in the world ... did you live on the beach..

I can't really recall. I think my first aquarium was around 10 but I kept them off and on my whole life.
